MindLeaps' Train The Trainer program is an immersive 2-week program for dance educators. This year, six dancers -- from all over the world -- are in NYC to learn our methodology. These dancers are participating in intensive 8-hour days, learning MindLeaps dance curriculum, pedagogy, and fieldwork in Africa. Come meet and mingle with these newest team members over drinks!
The evening will also feature a discussion by Executive Director Rebecca Davis on her recent visit to our MindLeaps Center in Guinea, West Africa. This program serves 60 children at MindLeaps' permanent center in the capital city, Conakry, providing dance classes, English lessons, and a meal and sanitation program. Rebecca will discuss news from the program including our expanded partnership with the US Embassy in Guinea.
The evening will include drinks and appetizers.
